Transcriptome in vivo analysis (TIVA)

Technology Overview:

Transcriptome in vivo analysis (TIVA) is a novel platform that enables spatial and temporal analysis of the transcriptome in single or multiple cells from a heterogeneous population. TIVA can be combined with numerous in vivo and in vitro functional analysis techniques which are not supported by current RNA isolation methodologies.

Applications:

  1. Temporal RNA transcriptome analysis within a cell
  2. Spatial RNA analysis within a cell (e.g. dendrites of neurons or apical region of a stromal cell)
  3. Rapid RNA capture from individual cells within the same tissue
  4. Analysis of RNA in cells that are connected or in communication with one another
  5. Measurement of in vivo rates of RNA accumulation or degradation
  6. Use with other in vivo techniques, such as live-imaging or electrophysiology.
