Transcriptome in vivo analysis (TIVA)

Technology Overview:

Transcriptome in vivo analysis (TIVA) is a novel platform that enables spatial and temporal analysis of the transcriptome in single or multiple cells from a heterogeneous population. TIVA can be combined with numerous in vivo and in vitro functional analysis techniques which are not supported by current RNA isolation methodologies.

Applications:

  -  Temporal RNA transcriptome analysis within a cell
  -  Spatial RNA analysis within a cell (e.g. dendrites of neurons or apical region of a stromal cell)
  -  Rapid RNA capture from individual cells within the same tissue
  -  Analysis of RNA in cells that are connected or in communication with one another
  -  Measurement of in vivo rates of RNA accumulation or degradation
  -  Use with other in vivo techniques, such as live-imaging or electrophysiology.
